L&T delivers legal workshop for marketers in independent agencies

Last week, we welcomed this year’s delegates of the Alliance of Independent Agencies’ Diploma in “Strategy, Creativity and Communications” for a workshop on “Keeping It Legal” delivered by advertising and marketing partner Dominic Bray.

In the Diploma’s workshop, 22 marketers learnt how to comply with law and regulations and better manage their relationships with their own clients through the fundamentals of marketing regulations (CAP, BCAP and the ASA), IP, trade marks, copyright, prize promotions and contracts between agency and clients in an interactive session.

The cohort included representatives from Altavia, Blue Chip, Chapel, Ignis, Initials, RPM, Savvy, The Big Group, TMSW, Wasserman and Zeal.

We continue to support the UK independent marketing agency community in this innovative training programme in addition to operating the Alliance’s legal advisory and pitch protection services. Our team looks forward to welcoming the delegation again in April 2026 for their graduation.
